2,500 Cops Deployed for Dhirendra Shastri’s Hanuman Katha in Bhore; 8-Layer Security in Place

Bhore/ Patna: Preparations are in full swing for Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri’s Hanuman Katha, scheduled from March 6 to 10 at Ram Janaki Math in Ramnagar. With a massive influx of devotees expected, the district administration is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring security and smooth conduct of the event.
A deployment of 2,500 police personnel will be in place to manage the crowd and maintain law and order. The Superintendent of Police (SP) himself conducted a thorough inspection of the venue and surrounding routes, culminating in a detailed traffic and route chart prepared in consultation with officials.
Eight-Layer Security for Shastri:
Recognizing the high-profile nature of the event, an eight-layer security detail has been planned for Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. He will arrive by road from Sevarhi in Kushinagar district, and his travel route has been meticulously mapped out.
The pandal at Ramnagar, spanning 60 acres, is nearing completion. Artisans from Meerut are providing the final touches to the structure, built using German hanger technology, ensuring it can accommodate the large gathering of devotees.
Devotees Eager for Katha:
The anticipation among devotees is palpable, with a huge crowd expected to converge on Ramnagar for the five-day event. SP, during his visit to the math, emphasized the paramount importance of the safety of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and all attendees. Parking and route details will be released shortly.
‘No VIP’ Policy:
Ajay Rai, the main host of the Hanuman Katha, clarified during a press conference that the event will adhere to a ‘no VIP’ policy. “Baba himself has invited all the people of Bihar,” he stated, encouraging everyone to attend and experience the Katha. “Everyone will sit together and enjoy the story.”
