6300 Police Personnel Deployed for Chief Minister’s Security in Motihari, Bihar
Patna: In light of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s upcoming Pragati Yatra in Motihari on December 24, the district administration has arranged extensive security measures. A total of 6300 personnel, including 5000 police officers, 600 officers, 600 magistrates, and 20 DSP rank officers, will be deployed to ensure a smooth and secure event.
The security setup will consist of a three-tier cordon, with police forces stationed at various levels. SP Swarn Prabhat informed that special attention has been given to surveillance, with CCTV cameras and drones being used for monitoring both ground and aerial activity. In addition, Special Branch officers will be positioned in plain clothes to oversee the situation.
A detailed route chart has been released to the public to avoid any inconvenience during the Chief Minister’s visit. The police will also be on high alert to manage any crowd-related issues, with additional personnel assigned to handle potential disturbances. Magistrates and police officers have been given strict instructions for their respective duties.
The visit is part of the Chief Minister’s initiative to assess the state’s development work and engage directly with the public. The administration has requested the public’s cooperation while prioritizing security arrangements. While enthusiasm is high for the visit, the authorities remain vigilant to address any challenges.
