70 New Dengue Cases Reported in Patna, Total Reaches 5,093 in Bihar

69 New Dengue Cases and 4 Chikungunya Cases Reported in Patna in 24 hrs; Season’s Death Toll Reaches 15

Patna: Bihar has reported 167 new dengue cases, with Patna recording the highest at 70. In the last 24 hours, two patients have died, bringing the state’s total number of dengue cases to 5,093. So far, 14 people have lost their lives to the disease, which is transmitted by the Aedes mosquito.

Apart from Patna, Gaya reported 14 new cases, Muzaffarpur 10, and Begusarai eight, with cases emerging from other districts as well. Health officials are urging residents to remain cautious, avoid water accumulation around their homes, and seek testing if symptoms appear. Free testing is available at PMCH, NMCH, IGIMS, and AIIMS, with proper medication being provided for positive cases.
