Langat Singh College Development Committee Discusses Key Infrastructure and Academic Upgrades

Muzaffarpur: Langat Singh College convened a meeting of its Development Committee to discuss plans for enhancing infrastructure, digital resources, and student facilities. Presiding over the session, Principal Prof. Om Prakash Roy reiterated the administration’s commitment to improving the college’s infrastructure, aesthetics, and overall student experience.

Prof. Roy emphasised the institution’s dual focus on academic excellence and student support, stating, “Langat Singh College is committed to providing a strong academic foundation while ensuring students have access to the resources and facilities they need to thrive.” He acknowledged the support of the state government and other agencies in completing several development projects, with more currently underway.

A key element of the college’s strategy, he noted, is incorporating student feedback in project planning. “The initiatives discussed today were prioritised based on student input, ensuring our development efforts align with their needs and aspirations,” he said. The proposals, finalised during the meeting, will now be sent to the university for review and approval.

The committee discussed several major initiatives, including equipping the newly constructed e-library with advanced IT infrastructure, enhancing smart classrooms with digital resources and high-speed internet, and ensuring accessible drinking water facilities in every department. Plans were also outlined for upgrading IT resources to improve campus-wide computer and internet access.
