BJP Gears Up for Amit Shah’s Muzaffarpur Rally, Samrat Chaudhary reviews preparations

Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in full swing preparing for a rally featuring senior party figure and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, scheduled to take place in Muzaffarpur on November 5. In the lead-up to this highly-anticipated event, BJP State President Samrat Chaudhary made his way to Muzaffarpur on Wednesday to oversee the intricate preparations that are underway.

Chaudhary highlighted the tireless efforts of party workers and leaders, emphasizing that preparations for the rally are unfolding at every level, from the state down to the booth level. “There are approximately 3,400 booths in this district. This program will serve as a clarion call for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The rally will center on themes vital to our nation’s growth – farmers, the green revolution, the blue revolution, and the white revolution,” he said.

The rally, which will mark Amit Shah’s sixth visit to Bihar since the formation of the Mahagathbandhan government in the state in August last, will be hosted near Patahi Airport. A cadre of senior party officials, Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), and other party workers hailing from various districts have been entrusted with the task of mobilizing a large turnout.

In a conversation with the media after assessing the rally’s preparations, BJP State President Chaudhary unleashed sharp criticism on Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, and Deputy Chief Minister, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. Chaudhary asserted, “BJP has made Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister five times, but now only a BJP worker will occupy the Chief Minister’s chair.”

Chaudhary also took a swipe at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad, pointing out, “Lalu had a 15-year opportunity for development work, and Nitish got 18 years, yet the beacon of development hasn’t reached Bihar. Eleven airports have been established in Uttar Pradesh, but Bihar still awaits land allocation for a new airport. People from Bihar travel to other states to catch flights. Why should you send your state’s money to another state?” he questioned, underlining the pressing issues that BJP aims to address during the forthcoming rally.
