Bihar Teachers Can Apply for Transfers Online from 1-15 December

PATNA: A significant milestone is set for Bihar’s education sector as all 1,20,336 school teachers, selected through the Bihar Public Service Commission’s written examination, are scheduled to receive ad-hoc appointment letters on November 2. The distribution ceremony will be held at various district headquarters, with a special event at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.

Appointment Letter Distribution Details:

District Magistrates across the state will present ad-hoc appointment letters to the selected teachers at their respective district headquarters. Additionally, a grand ceremony is planned at Gandhi Maidan, where 25,000 teachers will personally receive their appointment letters.

CM and Deputy CM’s Role:

In a special gesture, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister, and other ministers will personally hand over ad-hoc appointment letters to 500 selected teachers. This symbolic act emphasizes the significance of the occasion in the state’s education landscape.

Video Conferencing Linkage:

To ensure a seamless and synchronized distribution process, the district-level ceremonies will be linked to the main event at Gandhi Maidan through video conferencing. District Magistrates will virtually join the ceremony, distributing appointment letters to the remaining candidates when the Chief Minister initiates the process.

Preparations for the Ceremony:

In compliance with the directives of ACS (Education) KK Pathak, each district will identify a spacious venue for the ceremony, ensuring proper security arrangements. The selected teachers are expected to assemble at Gandhi Maidan by 2 pm, marking a momentous occasion in their professional journey.

Post-Selection Training:

Following the selection, the teachers will undergo orientation in training institutes such as DIET, PTEC, CTE, SCERT, Bipard, etc. The ad-hoc appointment letters signify the next step in their educational journey, and the distribution ceremony adds a ceremonial touch to this significant achievement.
