Amit Shah in Patna: Addresses BJP Leaders at Party Office, Gopalganj Rally Tomorrow

Patna: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Patna on Saturday evening for a two-day visit, setting the stage for crucial discussions within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Bihar assembly elections. Shah travelled directly from the airport to the BJP office, where he convened a high-level meeting with party leaders to finalise the party’s election agenda. Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde and state president Dr Dilip Jaiswal outlined key electoral strategies before Shah addresses party members.

On Sunday, the Home Minister is scheduled to attend a function organised by the Cooperative Department in Patna, following which he will meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The meeting is expected to shape the NDA’s electoral roadmap in the state, focusing on key constituencies and voter mobilisation strategies.

Shah’s itinerary includes a significant public address in Gopalganj, where he is expected to outline the BJP’s vision for Bihar. The rally, set to take place at the under-construction police line grounds, will be preceded by a meeting with NDA leaders to strategise for 45 assembly seats in the Saran and Champaran regions. BJP officials have stated that all arrangements for the event, including security protocols, are in place, with Shah set to arrive in Gopalganj via an army helicopter.
