Amit Shah Pays Tribute to Late Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Modi, Prepares for Public Meeting in Ara
Patna: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Patna on Thursday to pay tribute to the late Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi. Upon his arrival at Patna airport, Shah went directly to Modi’s residence in Rajendra Nagar, where he offered his condolences to the family.
Shah is scheduled to hold a public meeting in Ara on Friday to support NDA candidate RK Singh. This marks Shah’s sixth visit to Bihar since the announcement of the Lok Sabha election date. In his previous visits, Shah has rallied five times in various locations across Bihar, consistently campaigning for NDA candidates. Shah is set to stay in Patna overnight.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also visited Sushil Modi’s residence to pay their respects. The Prime Minister was in Patna on May 20 and met with the late Deputy Chief Minister’s family, proceeding directly from Patna airport to offer his tribute.
