Amit Shah to Visit Bihar on March 30, Ahead of PM Modi’s Tour

Patna: Union home minister Amit Shah is set to visit Bihar on March 30 as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) preparations for the 2025 Bihar assembly elections. During his visit, he will meet senior BJP leaders in Patna to strategize for the upcoming polls and is also expected to hold discussions with leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

According to BJP sources, Shah’s visit has been officially confirmed, and he is likely to arrive in Patna late on March 29. Meanwhile, Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal, along with deputy chief ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, recently met senior party leaders in Delhi to discuss election preparations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to visit Bihar in April, though the exact date is yet to be finalized. His itinerary includes inaugurating the new terminal at Patna airport and laying the foundation stone for Bihta airport, along with other development projects. The final schedule will be confirmed after approval from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Ahead of PM Modi’s visit, Shah’s trip is expected to focus on reviewing BJP’s election preparedness and discussing seat-sharing arrangements with NDA allies, including JD(U).
