Ayodhya Festival Honours Bhojpuri Film Producer Nishant Ujjwal for Outstanding Contributions

Motihari: Renowned Bhojpuri film producer Nishant Ujjwal was honoured with the prestigious Uttar Pradesh Samman at the Ayodhya Mahotsav 2024 for his significant contributions to Bhojpuri cinema and his efforts in promoting film production in Uttar Pradesh.
The award was presented by Harish Srivastava, Chairman of the Ayodhya Mahotsav Trust, and Abhay Sinha, President of the Indian Motion Pictures Association (IMPA). The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures from the Bhojpuri film industry and society at large.
Celebrating Bhojpuri Cinema
Among the notable attendees were Raj Kiran Tiwari, National President of the Joint Trade Union; Bhojpuri cinema icon Kunal Singh; acclaimed actress Amrapali Dubey; Mahant Brijmohan Das Ji Maharaj of the Uttar Pradesh Saint Society Dashrath Gaddi; former Uttar Pradesh Information Commissioner Narendra Srivastava; and Rudhauli MLA Ramchandra Yadav.

After receiving the award, Ujjwal expressed his gratitude, saying, “This honour increases my responsibilities further. I sincerely thank the Ayodhya Mahotsav Trust and everyone who considered my hard work worthy of this prestigious recognition. This is a proud moment in my career.”

Ujjwal began his journey in Bhojpuri cinema as a Public Relations Officer (PRO). Through dedication and perseverance, he rose to prominence in film production and distribution. His contributions include promoting Uttar Pradesh as a cinematic hub by facilitating shoots in locations such as Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Jaunpur.
His celebrated filmography includes titles like Mai: The Pride of Bhojpuri, Vivah 2, Vivah 3, and Daag: Ego Lanchhan.
