Muzaffarapur / Patna : Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Baba Bageshwar, will set up his divine court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, on May 20, marking his first visit to the district. The event is expected to draw lakhs of devotees, with much anticipation building among locals and surrounding areas.

The announcement was made by the Muzaffarpur Seva Sansthan, which confirmed that Baba’s program will take place at a ground near D.P.S School, close to the Patahi Fourlane. Baba Bageshwar will remain in the district until May 21, 2025. His visit coincides with the ongoing Vishnu Mahayagya being held in Radhanagar Chausima from May 19-28.

Devotees have eagerly awaited this event for a long time. On Sunday, members of the Muzaffarpur Seva Sansthan traveled to Mumbai to personally invite Baba to visit the district. After meeting with Baba, the invitation was accepted, confirming his one-day program.

On the morning of May 20, Baba Bageshwar will arrive at Darbhanga Airport by chartered plane from New Delhi, before traveling to the Katha Sthal via road. The event will include an address by Baba and the opening of slips in the names of devotees seeking blessings.

In addition to Baba’s program, a 5-day storytelling session by renowned Vrindavan storyteller Aniruddhacharya will take place as part of the Vishnu Mahayagya from May 23 to 27. The Muzaffarpur Seva Sansthan will soon convene a meeting to finalize the logistics of Baba’s stay and coordinate with the district and police administration for security arrangements.
