Emphasizing timely completion of projects under the Chief Minister’s Pragati Yatra, the Minister stressed that the government is committed to enhancing statewide connectivity. He asserted that the NDA government is prioritizing the construction and expansion of roads, ensuring both quality and maintenance. Officials responsible for road upkeep were warned that any negligence in maintenance would invite strict action.

Addressing traffic congestion in Bihta, Minister Nabin stated that NHAI had been instructed to take urgent steps. The Vishunpura bypass is under rapid construction, while the widening of Bihta Chauraha has been completed, easing traffic flow. Work on four-lane expansion between Bihta Chauraha and Parev is in progress, alongside service roads, crash barriers, diversions, and signage as per Indian Roads Congress (IRC) standards. Authorities have been directed to remove encroachments at Bihta Chowk.
