BAU Students Shine in BPSC Assistant Director Exam, Securing Eight Out of Ten Seats

Bhagalpur: Students of Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) have achieved remarkable success in the recently declared Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) results for Assistant Director (Plant Protection). Out of ten successful candidates, eight are from BAU, marking a proud moment for the university and the state.

The Vice-Chancellor of BAU, Dr. D.R. Singh, attributed this success to the university’s robust academic environment and commitment to excellence. “This result reflects the high-quality education, exceptional facilities, and supportive teaching environment at BAU. As Bihar’s only agricultural university, we are proud to contribute to the Honorable Chief Minister’s vision of strengthening agricultural education through the state’s agricultural roadmap,” he said.

The successful candidates praised the university for its role in their achievement. Sonu Bharti, one of the selected students, highlighted the 24-hour library access and well-maintained labs as key factors in their preparation. “The university provided all the necessary facilities to help us succeed,” he noted.

Another successful candidate, Ankit Anand, credited BAU’s faculty for their personalized approach. “Every student receives individual attention here. The professors guided us diligently, and the Vice-Chancellor’s direct involvement in monitoring our progress was a turning point,” he remarked.

The eight BAU students who cleared the exam are Ankit Anand, Sonu Bharti, Sanskriti B Maurya, Saurabh Bharti, Paras Dev, Amit Shekhar, Akanksha Kumari, and Ritu Raj.
