Bhagalpur:  Bhagalpur District Magistrate Dr. Nawal Kishore Choudhary visited Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour, where he inaugurated two significant initiatives aimed at social and agricultural development. He launched the newly established Clothing Bank, a social initiative to provide essential clothing to the needy. Additionally, he inaugurated the Bioinformatics Lab, a major step towards promoting computational research in agriculture. This lab will play a crucial role in fostering data-driven innovations and strengthening agricultural research.

During his visit, Dr. Choudhary inspected several key research facilities, including the Tissue Culture Lab, Biofertilizer Production Unit, Hydroponics Facility, ADSS Lab, and other advanced laboratories. He interacted with scientists and researchers to gain insights into the pioneering research being conducted at BAU. He commended the university’s commitment to agricultural research, productivity, and sustainable farming practices for the benefit of Bihar’s farmers.
