Bhojpuri Actress Akshara Singh Receives Death Threat Along With Rs 50 Lakh Ransom Demand

Patna: Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh has reportedly received a death threat along with a demand for a Rs 50 lakh ransom. The threats were made on November 11, when Akshara received two calls within a minute, both from different numbers. The caller demanded that she pay Rs 50 lakh within two days, warning her of fatal consequences if the money was not transferred. The person making the threat also reportedly used abusive language during the calls.

Following the incident, Akshara filed a complaint at the Danapur police station, which was submitted by one of her close associates. SHO Prashant Bhardwaj confirmed that a written application has been received and that an investigation is underway. Further action will be taken based on the findings.

Akshara Singh is a prominent figure in the Bhojpuri film industry. She began her career with the film Satyamev Jayate alongside Ravi Kishan and has since appeared in several popular movies, including Satya, Tabadla, and Maa Tujhe Salaam. Akshara is also known for her singing talents, having released several hit songs. Additionally, she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss. Recently, she celebrated the Chhath festival and shared videos from the celebration on her social media.

In a separate case, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has also been receiving threats, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After the murder of Baba Siddiqui, Yadav called Lawrence a “two-penny goon,” leading to a series of threats. He claims to have received messages from various locations and gangs and has asked the Union Home Ministry for Z category security. Currently, he is under Y category security, but his personal assistant has also reportedly received threats on WhatsApp.
