Bhojpuri Blockbuster “Rang De Basanti” to Debut on TV This Independence Day

Patna: Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav’s much-anticipated film, “Rang De Basanti,” will make its world television premiere on Bhojpuri Cinema on August 15. The release, timed to coincide with India’s Independence Day, marks a significant milestone for the film industry, bringing the year’s most talked-about Bhojpuri film to audiences nationwide in their homes.
Produced by Roshan Singh and Sharmila R Singh under the SRK Music banner, “Rang De Basanti” has already garnered considerable attention with its theatrical release, spanning approximately 250 theatres across India, including markets in Odisha, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Chennai. The film’s extensive release highlights a rare achievement for Bhojpuri cinema, which traditionally has a more regional footprint.
