Bihar: 1883 Youths Certified Under Rail Skill Development Scheme
HAJIPUR – In a significant stride towards skill development and employment generation, East Central Railways, under the Rail Skill Development Scheme, has successfully trained a total of 1883 youths. The scheme, which aims to enhance the employment capabilities of youth and improve the skills of those interested in self-employment, has recently awarded certificates to 33 trainees from various training centers and workshops.
From December 5, 2023, to December 28, 2023, 33 trainees received certificates from supervisory training centers and workshops located in Samastipur Carriage Repair Workshop, Harnaut Electric Traction Training Center in Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Mandal, and Signal and Telecommunication Training Center in Danapur. These certificates signify the completion of rigorous training sessions and validate the acquired skills of the participants.
At the supervisory training center and mechanical workshop in Samastipur, 17 youths specializing in the Fitter trade were awarded certificates. The training covered various tasks such as measurement, cutting, filing, drilling, and chisel cutting. Additionally, 6 youths at the Carriage Repair Workshop in Harnaut received certificates in the Machinist trade.
The Electrical Traction Training Center at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Mandal recognized 4 youths for their proficiency in electrical wiring, ironwork, making electrical boards, and connections. Furthermore, 6 youths were awarded certificates from the Signal and Telecommunication Training Center in Danapur after completing training in tasks related to diodes, ICs, power supply, soldering, multimeter usage, and transformer maintenance.
The trainees expressed their satisfaction upon completing the training, highlighting its utility in knowledge enhancement and boosting self-confidence.
