Bihar BJP Holds ‘Dhanyawad’ Meeting to Celebrate Bharat Ratna Awards
Patna: The Bihar BJP convened a ‘Dhanyawad’ meeting at the Shri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna on Thursday, extending gratitude and resolutions as they celebrated the conferral of the Bharat Ratna upon former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani and Jannayak Karpoori Thakur.
Amidst an atmosphere of respect and appreciation, party workers gathered and observed a minute of applause, expressing their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the prestigious recognition bestowed upon Advani and Thakur.
The event saw the felicitation of Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with Minister Prem Kumar. Additionally, a resolution was passed with the aim of securing victory in all 40 seats of Bihar in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Chief Minister Choudhary underscored the BJP’s unwavering commitment to both the Mandal and Kamandal principles, emphasizing the party’s steadfastness in upholding its alliances while adhering to alliance ethics.
Highlighting the BJP’s dedication to fulfilling its promises, Choudhary invoked the vision of Shri Shyama Prasad Mukherjee for a united India, commending the government’s decisive action in revoking Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
Reflecting on recent milestones, Choudhary emphasized the significance of the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya and the provision of pucca houses to millions of underprivileged families, illustrating the government’s commitment to addressing longstanding aspirations.
Deputy Chief Minister Sinha paid tribute to BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani for championing cultural heritage preservation and praised Karpoori Thakur for his virtues of simplicity, humility, and honesty. Sinha also hailed the visionary leadership of Bihar’s first Chief Minister, Shri Krishna Singh, who abolished the Zamindari system, prioritizing the welfare of all Biharis.
Minister Prem Kumar echoed the sentiment of gratitude towards Prime Minister Modi, crediting the tireless efforts of BJP workers for the party’s success. He emphasized that the honor bestowed upon the nation is a testament to the dedication and hard work of BJP workers.
The proceedings were overseen by State General Secretary Jagannath Thakur and Rajesh Verma, with State in-charge Vinod Tawde also in attendance, reaffirming the party’s collective commitment to its ideals and objectives.
