Bihar Board Matriculation Results 2025: 123 Students in Top 10, Girls Lead the Chart

BSEB results declared on Saturday.

Patna : The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the Matriculation Examination 2025 results today. Education Minister Sunil Kumar announced that 82.11% of students passed the Class 10 exams, with a total of 12,79,294 students out of 15.85 lakh securing passing marks.

This year, 123 students secured a place in the top 10, including 25 in the top 5 and 98 in positions 6 to 10. Among the top scorers, three girls and one boy emerged as joint toppers. Sakshi from Samastipur, Ranjan from Ara, and Anshu from West Champaran all secured 498 marks, achieving an impressive 97.80%.

Double Prize Money for Toppers This Year

In a move to reward excellence, the Bihar Board has doubled the prize money for toppers this year. The top-ranked student will receive Rs2 lakh, up from Rs1 lakh last year. The second position will be awarded Rs1.5 lakh, compared to Rs75,000 previously. The third position holder will now get Rs1 lakh, an increase from Rs50,000. Students securing ranks between 4 and 10 will receive Rs20,000 each, compared to Rs10,000 in previous years.

Via SMS:

Open the messaging app on your phone.

Type BIHAR10 followed by your roll number (e.g., BIHAR10 23467891).

Send the message to 56263.

Your result will be sent to your phone within minutes.

Bihar Board Maintains Record for Fastest Results

The Bihar Board has once again maintained its record of being the first board in the country to release matriculation and intermediate results. This year, the matric results were declared on 29 March, while the intermediate results were announced on 25 March, ahead of most other boards.

Girls Excel in Intermediate Results

In the recently announced Intermediate Examination results, girls dominated across all three streams. Priya Jaiswal from West Champaran topped the Science stream with 484 marks, while Ankita Kumari from Vaishali secured the top spot in the Arts stream with 473 marks. Roshni Kumari topped Commerce with 475 marks.
