Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Applauds Padma Awards 2024 Recipients for Outstanding Contributions
Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his joy at the announcement of the prestigious Padma Vibhushan posthumously conferred upon the late Bindeshwar Pathak for his remarkable contributions to social work. In tandem with this, Chief Minister Kumar also awarded Padma Bhushan to Dr. Chandeshwar Prasad Thakur for his achievements in medicine. Additionally, the honor was bestowed upon Shanti Devi Paswan and Shivam Paswan (a husband-wife duo), Ashok Kumar Vishwas, Ram Kumar Mallik for their notable contributions in the field of arts, and Surendra Kishore for his excellence in language.
