Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Explores Science Museum London, Plans for Innovation in Patna Science City
London: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar embarked on a visit to London, where he took the opportunity to explore the renowned Science Museum London on Friday. During his tour, Nitish delved into the intricacies and unique features of the science museum, aiming to draw inspiration for the forthcoming Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Science City in Patna.
Expressing his vision, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of providing students with accessible avenues to comprehend the fundamentals, activities, and principles of science. He emphasized that integrating modern technologies akin to those showcased in the Science Museum London would facilitate enhanced understanding and foster heightened interest in science among learners in Patna.
Accompanying Nitish on this insightful expedition were former Bihar Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, the Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, Secretary of the Building Construction Department Kumar Ravi, and a host of other dignitaries. Among the notable attendees were Helen Jonas, Director of Engagement at the Science Museum Group International, along with her colleague Shalini Narayan. Additionally, Fargus Carrol, the Science Museum Maintenance Manager, and Sujit, a consultant for Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Science City, Patna, were also present to contribute their expertise and insights.
