Bihar: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Inaugurates Lohia Path Chakra Phase-4 in Patna
Patna, 17 October 2023: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar officially opened the Lohia Path Chakra Phase-4 today, situated at Pant Bhawan on Nehru Path.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by the Chief Minister’s inspection of various infrastructural projects, including the newly-opened underpass connecting Nehru Path to Daroga Rai Path. Abhay Kumar Singh, the Chairman of Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited, marked the occasion by presenting a sapling to the Chief Minister.
Infrastructure Inspections
Post-inauguration, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took the time to assess the ongoing construction projects related to Lohia Path Chakra. During the inspection, he instructed the officers to expedite the construction while maintaining high quality, emphasizing that the completion of these projects would significantly ease transportation woes for the public.
Future Benefits
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of the Lohia Path Chakra’s complete operational status, stating it would streamline vehicular movement and facilitate easier travel to Boring Canal Road. He added that the progress of the Lohia Path Chakra project is under constant scrutiny to ensure its timely completion.

Several dignitaries attended the event, including Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Finance, Commercial Tax, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, former General Secretary of Bihar State Citizen Council Arvind Kumar Singh alias Chhotu Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, and Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department Pratyaya Amrit. Other attendees were Kumar Ravi, Commissioner of Patna Division, District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh, and Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra, among other senior officers and engineers.
