In a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi conveyed his wishes to Kumar, stating, “Best wishes to Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar Ji, on his birthday. Praying for his long and healthy life in service of the people.” Kumar’s alliance with the BJP, forming the NDA government on January 28, added a significant dimension to the birthday greetings, underscoring the political dynamics at play.

Among the political figures extending greetings was senior RJD leader and former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav, who conveyed his wishes for Kumar’s well-being and longevity. “Birthday wishes to respected Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar Ji. I pray to God for your good health, happiness, and long life,” wrote Yadav on X, highlighting a gesture of cross-party civility.

Inside the Bihar assembly premises, leaders from the NDA, including Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, offered their congratulations to Kumar in person, a tradition marking the camaraderie within the political alliance.

As the state assembly commenced its proceedings, Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav took a moment to extend his felicitations to the CM, prompting similar gestures from leaders of other political parties, emphasizing a sense of unity despite ideological differences.
