Bihar Chief Secretary Reviews PM Gatishakti National Master Plan and Land Revenue Data

Patna: A review meeting on the adoption of the PM Gatishakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) and land revenue data was chaired by Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena at the Old Secretariat. The meeting focused on assessing the progress of PMGS-NMP and improving the state’s land revenue data system. A detailed presentation was made, highlighting the plan’s vision, achievements, and the use of new technologies, including project maps and district geo-referencing.
Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena reviewed the current status of land revenue data in Bihar and stressed the importance of maintaining and making the data easily accessible to the public. He proposed integrating departmental portals with the Gatishakti portal to streamline operations and enhance database management. He also directed officials to prepare a comprehensive plan for upgrading geo-referencing tools and databases.
The Chief Secretary encouraged the Industry Department to work at its full potential, emphasizing its crucial role in the success of the Gatishakti plan. Secretary of the Industry Department Bandana Preyasi, Director of the Industry Department Alok Ranjan Ghosh, and other senior officials, including Principal Secretaries and Additional Chief Secretaries, attended the meeting to discuss further action plans.
The meeting concluded with a focus on inter-departmental coordination to ensure smooth implementation of the PM Gatishakti National Master Plan in Bihar, aiming for enhanced infrastructure development and efficient land revenue data management across the state.
