Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Returns to Patna; Assures Stability Amidst Political Speculation
Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has arrived back in Patna from Delhi, reassuring the public of the government’s stability amidst ongoing political deliberations. Upon his return, Kumar expressed confidence in the government’s functioning and assured citizens not to worry about the impending floor test.
During his two-day visit to Delhi, Kumar engaged in significant meetings with key political figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President JP Nadda. Additionally, he extended his congratulations to senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani on being conferred with the prestigious Bharat Ratna award. Kumar also convened a meeting with his party’s MPs at the party office in Delhi on Thursday.
Speaking about the visit, Rajya Sabha MP Ramnath Thakur confirmed meeting with CM Nitish Kumar, emphasizing that no discussions were held regarding seat sharing during the meeting.
Similarly, MP Kavita Singh affirmed the party’s allegiance to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), asserting that the decision on contesting seats would rest solely with Nitish Kumar.
Earlier in Delhi, CM Nitish Kumar paid a visit to senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani to personally extend his congratulations on being honored with the Bharat Ratna. Reflecting on their longstanding relationship, Kumar expressed his delight at meeting Advani and conveyed his well wishes on the prestigious recognition bestowed upon him.
The meetings and interactions during Kumar’s Delhi visit come amidst heightened political activity and speculation, particularly regarding the upcoming floor test in the Bihar Assembly. Nitish Kumar’s return to Patna signifies a resolute stance amid the evolving political landscape in the state.
