Bihar: Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav to Discuss Tourism Policy with Stakeholders in Bodh Gaya

Dalai Lama Set to Enlighten Bodh Gaya

PATNA – Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Tejashwi Yadav will engage in a comprehensive discussion on the tourism policy with tour operators and hoteliers in Bodh Gaya on Thursday. The visit includes a site inspection and review of various departmental schemes aimed at enhancing tourism in the state.

Yadav is scheduled to kick off the day with a visit to Tibet Dharamshala, Bodhgaya, where he will seek blessings from His Holiness, the Buddhist leader Dalai Lama. Subsequently, the Deputy Chief Minister will proceed to the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya and participate in the site inspection program related to the connectivity plan for J.P. Park.

The agenda also includes a site inspection program for the under-construction State Guest House. Following these visits, a meeting is scheduled with tour operators and hoteliers at the Mahabodhi Cultural Centre in Bodh Gaya. The discussions will focus on the tourism policy, along with an overview of various departmental schemes. Yadav will also take the opportunity to review the progress of ongoing departmental initiatives during the meeting.
