Bihar: ED Seizes Rs 2.87 Crore in Cash and Incriminating Evidence in Raids on Baccha Rai’s Premises

HAJIPUR – The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a search operation on December 9 (Saturday) at the residences of Amit Kumar, also known as Baccha Rai. The operation extended to Vishun Rai Mahavidyalaya and Vishun Rajdev Teachers Training College located in Bhagwanpur, Vaishali district, Bihar.

The investigation revolves around Baccha Rai’s alleged involvement in manipulating intermediate exam results. During the search, officials unearthed various incriminating documents and evidence related to the purchase of over 100 plots of land. Additionally, a substantial amount of cash, totaling Rs 2.87 Crore, was seized.

The ED’s actions aim to uncover the extent of the malpractices and financial irregularities linked to Baccha Rai’s educational institutions.

Recently, the ED had lodged an FIR with police after its attached land was grabbed by Baccha Rai.
