Bihar: Flight Disruptions Cause Passenger Frustration at Darbhanga Airport
DARBHANGA – In a series of disruptions, flights to major cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata were canceled on Monday at Darbhanga Airport due to adverse weather conditions. Meanwhile, flights to Delhi and Bangalore faced delays, leaving passengers anxious and frustrated.
On Wednesday, only four aircraft managed to take off, accommodating 720 passengers. Those affected by cancellations expressed their discontent with the airline and the overall airport system.
Passengers traveling from Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai to Darbhanga found themselves stuck as their flights were canceled, causing a cascading effect on outgoing flights. The lack of timely communication added to the frustration of passengers who had already reached the airport.
Adding to the chaos, the flight from Delhi to Darbhanga arrived three hours behind schedule, and the Bengaluru-bound flight faced a delay of approximately one hour and 27 minutes. The late arrivals left passengers and their relatives anxiously waiting at the airport.
