Bihar: Four Girls Escape Through Broken Window Grill Of Shelter Home, One Injured
CHHAPRA – In a daring escape from a girls’ shelter home, four young girls managed to break through a window grill, resulting in one of them sustaining injuries during the getaway. The incident took place on Tuesday night at a girls’ home in Chhapra city, Bihar.
Around 2 am, the girls reportedly cut the grill of a window at the Government Girls’ Home in Sadha Mohalla, making their escape. During the process, one girl fell and suffered injuries. The severity of her injuries prompted the staff at the girls’ home to take immediate action.
Upon hearing the commotion, staff members rushed to the spot. They swiftly sent the injured girl to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for medical treatment. The gravity of the situation compelled them to refer the injured girl to Patna Referral Hospital for further treatment due to her critical condition.
Despite the swift response, three girls managed to evade capture and are currently at large. The police have initiated a search for the fugitive girls, adding urgency to apprehend them and ensure their safety.
Information gathered reveals that the escaped girls hail from Siwan and Vaishali, with two of them still on the run. The authorities are actively pursuing leads to locate and bring them back to the girls’ home.
One of the escaped girls has been apprehended, and she is currently in custody. The authorities have registered a case at the local police station related to the incident.
Hospital sources disclosed that the injured girl received initial treatment at Chhapra Sadar Hospital, but due to the unavailability of an ambulance to Patna, she was transported alongside another patient. The injured girl is now receiving continued medical attention in Patna.
