Bihar Government Focuses on Financial Independence for Startups and MSMEs at ICC Conference

Patna: Bihar government reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment at a conference organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) titled “Financial Independence: Planning for a Secure Future for Startups, MSMEs & Individuals.” The event, held in Patna, aimed to equip MSMEs and startups with essential financial knowledge and government provisions to help them grow and sustain their businesses.
The conference was attended by key figures from the financial sector, including experts, government officials, and entrepreneurs, who provided insights into funding options, tax benefits, and incentives available to businesses. The discussions focused on strategies to improve financial literacy, make informed decisions, and secure long-term financial stability.
The Industries and Tourism Minister emphasized the government’s efforts to build a supportive ecosystem that positions Bihar as a major player in India’s economy. He highlighted reforms aimed at improving access to finance, technology, and markets while encouraging entrepreneurship, particularly in underserved regions. The minister urged businesses to take full advantage of the various resources and schemes available.
The event concluded with two technical sessions addressing innovative financing solutions for MSMEs and startups, as well as strategies for personal financial management. Leading banks in Bihar participated, offering attendees practical advice on leveraging financial resources for growth and sustainability.
