Bihar Government Promotes 36 IPS Officers, Ganesh Kumar Elevated to ADG
Patna: The Bihar government has announced promotions for 36 IPS officers ahead of the new year, issuing a notification to increase their pay scale and elevate them to higher ranks. IPS Ganesh Kumar has been promoted to Additional Director General (ADG) from Inspector General (IG).
Officers from the 2007 batch—Daljit Singh, Vivek Kumar, and Ranjit Kumar Sinha—have been promoted to the rank of Inspector General (IG). Additionally, several officers, including Sudhir Kumar Porika, Chandan Kushwaha, Har Kishore Rai, Satyaprakash, Ashish Bharti, Rakesh Kumar, Rajendra Kumar Bhil, and Swapna Meshram, have been elevated to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG).
Other officers who received promotions include Avakash Kumar, Anand Kumar, Kumar Ashish, Raviranjan Kumar, Deepak Ranjan, Dr. Inamulhaq Meganu, Amir Javed, Ashok Kumar Singh, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Rakesh Kumar Sinha, Ajay Kumar Pandey, Neeraj Kumar Singh, Sushant Kumar Saroj, Rajiv Ranjan-2, Raman Kumar Chaudhary, Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Shailesh Kumar Sinha, Satyanarayan Kumar, Mithilesh Kumar, Rama Shankar Rai, Sushil Kumar, Vijay Prasad, and Dilnawaz Ahmed.
These promotions reflect the government’s acknowledgment of the officers’ dedication to public service. The newly promoted officials are expected to strengthen law enforcement and public safety across the state.
