Bihar Industries Secretary Assesses Land and Industrial Sites in Vaishali District
Patna: Bandana Preyashi, Secretary of the Industries Department, conducted an extensive site inspection in Vaishali district on Friday. The visit covered the blocks of Mahua, Rajapakar, and Jandaha, where 1,200 acres of land have been identified for acquisition to promote industrial development. The acquisition process, expected to begin soon, will adhere to required approvals and procedures. This initiative forms part of the state government’s broader vision to drive industrialisation and enhance the region’s economic potential.
Oswal Logistics Park: A Game-Changer for FMCG and E-commerce
In addition, Preyashi toured the Oswal Logistics Park in Sarai, Vaishali district. Positioned strategically near NH-19 and NH-22, the facility is well-suited to meet the needs of FMCG, retail, and e-commerce businesses. The logistics hub is expected to improve connectivity, enable faster deliveries, and reduce costs for businesses operating in Bihar.
Focus on Goraul Industrial Area for Job Creation
Later in the day, the industries secretary visited the Goraul Industrial Area in Vaishali. Her review of ongoing developments at the site underscored the government’s commitment to fostering a robust industrial ecosystem. The initiatives aim to create jobs and spur economic growth, aligning with Bihar’s goal of becoming an industrial hub.
