Bihar Investment Promotion Board Reviews Proposals Worth Rs 412 Crore

Patna: The Bihar State Investment Promotion Board Secretariat convened on Monday under the chairmanship of Industries Department Secretary Bandana Preyashi to review investment proposals aimed at boosting industrial development in the state.
The board assessed 10 proposals under Stage 1, each requiring a capital investment of over Rs 2 crore, with a total potential investment of Rs 164.65 crore. These proposals were recommended for further evaluation in the next board meeting for in-principle approval. Additionally, two projects with a combined investment of Rs 244 crore were recommended for financial approval.
In a significant move, the board also granted in-principle approval to two smaller investment proposals, each under Rs 2 crore, with a total projected investment of Rs 1.32 crore. One project worth Rs 3.43 crore received direct financial approval.
Among the companies reviewed in the meeting were Amrit Raj Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., Agro Win Agri Solution Pvt. Ltd., Pinax Steel Industries Pvt. Ltd., Astra Genix Pvt. Ltd., Sangam Rice Mill, and Om Sai Furniture.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Industries Department, Bihar State Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, Directorate of Industries, Commercial Tax Department, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Labour Resources Department, and Energy Department.
