JDU lok sabha song

Patna: The JD(U), under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, unveiled its theme song for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, portraying Kumar as a resilient leader capable of forging ahead and confronting challenges.

Titled ‘Badha badha ho, lada lada ho (march ahead and fight) Nitish Kumar’, the song was launched at the JD(U) office amidst the presence of esteemed leaders, including Bihar ministers Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Ashok Chaudhary, along with party’s Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Jha and Anil Hegde.

Accolades are bestowed upon Kumar in the song for assuming the reins of the state during difficult times and restoring its lost prestige. It underscores the developmental strides made by the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar, particularly emphasizing initiatives aimed at empowering women and increasing quotas for marginalized communities in government jobs and educational institutions.

Vijay Kumar Chaudhary remarked to reporters, “With the release of this theme song, the party has formally initiated our campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls in the state. The theme song highlights how our chief minister has transformed the aspirations of the youth and the public into tangible achievements.”

The Lok Sabha elections for Bihar’s 40 seats are scheduled across seven phases on April 19, 26, May 7, 13, 20, 25, and June 1. As per the seat-sharing arrangement within the NDA, the BJP is contesting on 17 seats, JD-U on 16, LJP-R of Chirag Paswan on five, and the HAM-S of former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi and the RLM of former Union minister Upendra Kushwaha on one seat each.
