Bihar Leaders Pay Tribute to Industrialist Ratan Tata After His Passing

Patna: Bihar’s political stalwarts expressed their deep condolences following the death of industrialist and Tata Sons’ honorary head, Ratan Tata. He passed away at the age of 86 on Wednesday night at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, following a recent decline in health. His death has led to an outpouring of grief across the country, including messages of condolence from the President, Prime Minister, and Home Minister. In Bihar, leaders from both the ruling and opposition parties expressed their sorrow.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav conveyed their grief over the passing of the Padma Vibhushan awardee. Tejashwi Yadav shared his message on social media, stating, “I express my deepest condolences on the demise of Ratan Tata, a visionary leader, an example of honesty, ethics, and kindness. He was a philanthropist who lived for others. May God give him a place at His feet.”

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary also shared his condolences, writing, “I am shocked by the sad news of the demise of famous industrialist Ratan Tata. His contributions to social work and industry are unforgettable. May God give peace to his soul.”

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha reflected on Ratan Tata’s belief in hard work and preparation. In his condolence message, Sinha wrote, “Ratan Tata, one of the greatest industrialists of the country, is no longer with us. His struggle and achievements have left an unforgettable mark on the nation. May his soul rest in peace.”

Former Chief Minister and current Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi also expressed his grief, posting on social media, “I am shocked by the death of Ratan Tata. His contributions to strengthening the Indian economy are immense. India has lost a great industrialist, social worker, and patriot. May God grant peace to his soul.”
