Bihar: Patna’s Swachhangini Women to Grace Republic Day Parade in Delhi
PATNA – In a historic move, the dedicated women of Swachhangini, known for their exceptional contribution to Patna’s cleanliness, are set to make their mark on a national stage. As a testament to their hard work, these women have been invited as special guests to participate in the Republic Day parade in Delhi.
For the first time ever, the sanitation workers from Patna will proudly take part in the prestigious parade, showcasing their commitment to cleanliness. The Patna Municipal Corporation has specially selected and sent these remarkable women to represent the city.
The distinguished members of the Swachhangini team who will be part of this momentous occasion are:

4. Indu Devi
Having been actively involved in cleaning initiatives since 2021, these women have played a crucial role in maintaining the hygiene of Patna. Their responsibilities include manhole cleaning in the Pataliputra and Nutan Rajdhani regions. Notably, they have also undergone special training for mechanized cleaning.
This initiative not only highlights the vital work of these dedicated women but also signifies the recognition of their efforts on a national platform.
