Bihar: PM Modi to Inaugurate Nalanda University’s New Campus on June 19

Nalanda: Prime Minister Modi is coming to Bihar on June 19. Several indications suggest that this visit, just 10 days after taking oath as Prime Minister, is considered significant. It has been announced that he will address a gathering at Nalanda University. Apart from this, he has other programs scheduled during his visit. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be present on this occasion.

PM Modi’s upcoming visit on June 19 to Nalanda University’s program is eagerly awaited. According to sources, he is expected to attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed campus of Nalanda University along with his entourage.

During this visit, PM Modi will also address students from India and abroad. His journey to Rajgir will commence from Varanasi. On June 19, he will board a flight from Varanasi Airport at 8:30 AM for Gaya. He is scheduled to arrive at Gaya airport around 9:00 AM. From there, at 9:20 AM, his helicopter will take off for Nalanda district. His helicopter is expected to land at the helipad on the campus of the International Nalanda University in Rajgir, Nalanda district, at 9:50 AM.

From the helipad, PM Modi will proceed with his convoy through the campus road to reach the main event venue, Sushma Swaraj Auditorium, at 10 AM. During the event, which is scheduled to last for one and a half hours from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, PM Modi will formally inaugurate the newly constructed campus of Nalanda University.

He will also address students studying at Nalanda University from India and abroad. After the conclusion of the event, around 11:45 AM, PM Modi will depart for Gaya by helicopter. It’s noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Rajgir is happening for the first time.

District Magistrate Vaibhav Srivastava provided the information that Prime Minister Modi will be arriving in Nalanda to participate in a university program. He also mentioned that PM Modi will inspect the remains of Nalanda University. The Governor, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and other dignitaries will also be present during this event. After the program, the Prime Minister will return to Gaya and depart from there by plane to Delhi. Preparations for the event at the university campus are underway, although no confirmation has been issued yet by the university administration.
