Bihar: Road Accident Claims Lives of Three Friends Returning from Birthday Celebration in Bhagalpur
BHAGALPUR – Three friends lost their lives while returning from a friend’s birthday party in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The police, on routine patrolling, discovered a damaged bike on the road and, upon reaching the scene, found the bodies of all three friends lying on top of each other.
The victims were identified as Prince Kumar (24), son of Janardan Mandal from Mahua Bazar in Raghunathpur police station, Sukesh Kumar (20), son of Masrul Kumar Rai from Pratapnagar in Kadwa OP, and Rahul Kumar alias Suraj Kumar (18), son of Ramji Mandal from Manthan Tola in Ismailpur police station. The trio was returning from Anshu Kumar’s birthday party in Harnathchak of Gopalpur police station when the accident occurred.
The police initially identified Prince Kumar through an Aadhaar card recovered from the scene. The information about the incident was shared on social media by the police, leading the families to recognize and confirm the identities of the deceased friends.
Prince Kumar, a 24-year-old lab technician working at a private doctor’s clinic in Kadwa, was accompanied by Sukesh Kumar, who had attended the birthday celebration late into the night. The third friend, Rahul Kumar, alias Suraj Kumar, lost his life in the accident as well.
The police, upon the families’ identification, transported the bodies to Navgachia Sadar Hospital for postmortem examinations. The details surrounding the accident remain under investigation, with the community mourning the untimely loss of the three friends.
