Bihar: Robbers Loot Rs 20 Lakh Brandishing Weapons From India One Employees, Over 6 Accused Involved
MAHARAJGANJ – A group of armed robbers, numbering around half a dozen, looted ₹20 lakh from India One franchise employees near the Mahavir Temple in Takkipur within the Maharajganj police station area of Siwan on Friday evening while they were depositing money in an ATM. After the incident, there was commotion in the area, and the employees promptly informed the local police.
Upon receiving the information, the police initiated an investigation and crackdown to apprehend the culprits. Inspector Pramod Kumar of Maharajganj police station stated that the India One employees had arrived to deposit money in the franchise’s ATM when the robbers carried out the incident.
The case is appearing suspicious, and an investigation is underway, police said.
