Bihar: Robbers Loot Rs 38 Lakh from Bharat Financial Inclusion Office in Muzaffarpur
MUZAFFARPUR – Miscreants looted Rs 38 lakh from the office of Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited Company on Sahabajpur Road in the Ahiyapur police station area of Muzaffarpur district, Bihar.
The incident reportedly occurred late on Wednesday night, between 12:30 and 1 am. Upon receiving the information, the Ahiyapur police station promptly reached the spot and initiated an investigation. It was reported that six workers were present in the office during the late hours, counting money. During this process, two armed miscreants entered, held all the employees captive, and looted the cash.
When the workers resisted, the miscreants resorted to violence, beating them. The police were informed about the incident long after it occurred. Subsequently, the police arrived at the location to conduct an investigation.
Ahiyapur police station incharge Rohan Kumar stated that the incident transpired late at night, with an estimated loot of Rs 38 lakh. The CCTV cameras in the vicinity are currently under scrutiny.
In a similar incident the day before in Ara, miscreants swiftly looted Rs 16 lakh in just four minutes from Axis Bank on Circuit House Road.
