Bihar School Examination Board Releases Admit Cards for Matric Annual Examination 2024; Exams Schedule and Important Instructions Unveiled

PATNA – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the release of admit cards for the Annual Secondary Examination (Matriculation Examination) 2024 on Sunday. With exams swiftly approaching, candidates can download their admit cards from the official examination committee website at http://secondary.biharboardonline.com.

The Matriculation internal assessment and practical examination are scheduled to take place from 18th to 20th January, while the theory examination will span from 15th to 23rd February. Notably, a single admit card will be valid for both assessments.

Heads of all recognized schools can access the admit cards by logging in with their user ID and password on the examination committee’s website. Post download, the admit cards will be signed, stamped, and distributed to the students. It’s crucial to note that the admit card is only valid for students who have successfully completed the setup test; those with failed or absent statuses in the examination will not be granted admission, and the school heads will refrain from issuing admit cards to such students.

An impressive count of 16,94,564 candidates is set to appear in the Matric Annual Examination 2024, spread across 1583 examination centers throughout the state. This marks an increase from the previous year, which saw 16,35,383 candidates appearing in 1500 examination centers.

The examination committee emphasizes that internal assessment and practical examinations for matriculation candidates are slated for 18th to 20th January 2024. Notably, for visually impaired candidates, the exam will focus on music instead of science and home science instead of mathematics.

Concerns have been raised about pending registration and examination fees from certain schools. Schools with outstanding dues have until January 20th to fulfill these financial obligations in the best interest of the students.

Furthermore, the committee underscores the importance of maintaining the integrity of the admit cards issued. Heads of schools or examination center superintendents are strictly prohibited from making any amendments to the admit cards. Any unauthorized changes may result in disciplinary action against the headmaster.

Additionally, the facility of writer will be provided to disabled candidates, with applications to be submitted to the District Education Officer one week prior to the examination. This provision aims to support disabled candidates who require assistance in writing during the exams.
