Patna: Amidst the uproar over the NEET paper leak and exam irregularities, the Bihar government has decided to enact strict laws to prevent paper leaks and ensure exam integrity.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced this during a program commemorating Anugrah Narayan Singh’s birth anniversary in Patna on Tuesday. He said those involved in paper leaks will no longer have free rein.
Earlier on Monday, CM Nitish convened a meeting with ministers and officials, directing them not to tolerate any irregularities in recruitment exams. He emphasized transparency in exams conducted in the state and instructed officials to draft legislation to prevent incidents like paper leaks.
This proposal will be introduced in the upcoming session of the legislative assembly elections.
