
Patna: With active participation from voters across Bihar, tireless efforts by 77,895 Booth Level Officers (BLOs), 20,603 newly appointed BLOs, over four lakh volunteers assisting election personnel and vulnerable voters, and 1.56 lakh Booth Level Agents (BLAs) from recognised political parties, 66.16% of voter enumeration forms have been collected under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
As of 6.00 pm on Thursday, 5,22,44,956 forms have been collected, which is 66.16% of Bihar’s 7,89,69,844 voters. These forms were compiled over 16 days since SIR instructions were issued on June 24, 2025. Officials said that if the current pace continues, the work may be completed ahead of the scheduled deadline of July 25.
Around 7.90 crore enumeration forms have been printed since the campaign began, with about 98% – or 7.71 crore forms – distributed to voters whose names were on the electoral roll as of June 24, 2025. Voters still have 15 days left to fill and submit their forms to ensure accurate electoral rolls for upcoming elections.
