The airline company, in a recent statement, expressed its commitment to expanding its network by connecting Ayodhya with eight major cities across the country starting February 1. This move is expected to enhance connectivity options for travelers to and from Ayodhya.
In a related development, SpiceJet had previously announced a special flight from Delhi to Ayodhya on January 21. This special service was designed to facilitate passengers attending the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22.
However, adverse weather conditions impacted the air services at Darbhanga Airport on Friday. Several flights, including arrivals and departures to destinations like Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, were canceled. A total of 10 flights to and from Darbhanga were affected by these cancellations, leading to discontent among passengers who raised slogans against the airline near the airport counter. The terminal manager of the airport intervened, explaining the situation to the passengers and calming the situation.
