Bihar: Teenager Takes Extreme Step Over Unfulfilled Bike Wish
BEGUSARAI – In a heart-wrenching incident in the Hardiya Ward 10 area of Begusarai, a 17-year-old boy, identified as Pintu Sharma, took his own life by hanging. The shocking incident unfolded after Pintu’s persistent desire to own a bike clashed with the financial constraints faced by his father, Shyam Kishor Sharma.
According to available information, Pintu Sharma, known for his stubborn nature, had recently acquired a mobile phone worth Rs 30,000 from his father. However, his longing for a bike became a point of contention. Despite his father’s inability to purchase the desired two-wheeler, Pintu remained adamant, resulting in a tragic turn of events.
Panchayat representative Mohammad Azaad highlighted Pintu’s stubborn disposition, emphasizing his relentless pursuit of material possessions. The recent mobile phone purchase was followed by an insistent plea for a bike, a request that his father regretfully couldn’t fulfill due to financial constraints.
Local authorities, upon receiving information about the suicide, have initiated an investigation into the matter. The deceased’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and further inquiries are underway to understand the circumstances that led to this incident.
