Rs 97.61 crore will be allocated for the development of Matsyagandha Lake in Saharsa, and Rs 49.51 crore will go towards establishing the Karamchak Eco-Tourism Adventure Hub in Kaimur.
The Matsyagandha Lake project will feature Bihar’s second glass bridge, following the one in Rajgir, and will include various other attractions such as a circular glass bridge, ghat, toilet block, food court, parking, musical fountain, light and sound show, and selfie points. These developments are expected to boost tourism and create significant employment opportunities in the local areas, particularly in the handicrafts, hotel, and transport sectors.
Choudhary expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for their support in promoting the tourism industry in both North and South Bihar. He emphasised that these projects will not only attract tourists but will also create a new avenue for adventure tourism in Kaimur.
The ecotourism hub in Kaimur is expected to provide a thrilling experience for adventure enthusiasts, making the region a prime destination for ecotourism. Choudhary stated that the development will enhance both local infrastructure and employment prospects in the Kosi and Kaimur areas.
