Bihar’s 26-Member Team Leaves for National Kho-Kho Competition in Maharashtra
Patna: A 26-member team from Bihar has departed for Kolhapur, Maharashtra, to participate in the 68th National School Under-14 Boys/Girls Kho-Kho Competition. The event will take place from January 10 to 13. Om Prakash, District Sports Officer, Patna-cum-State Coordinator Kho-Kho, extended his best wishes to the team for a strong performance.
The girls’ team includes Sakshi Kumari, Mansi Kumari, Payal, and Krishna Priya from Bhagalpur, Ishika Kumari and Puja Kumari from Patna, Saumya Kumari from Sheikhpura, Karina from West Champaran, Anjana Kumari from Muzaffarpur, Priyanshi Kumari from Samastipur, Supriya Kumari from Buxar, and Priyanshi from Samastipur.
The boys’ team features Shubham Kumar, Bittu Kumar, Sintu Kumar, and Satyam Kumar from Munger, Abhilesh Kumar and Hariom from Darbhanga, Shivam Kumar Tiwari from Kaimur, Shubham Kumar from Banka, Aniket Kumar from Purnia, Vishal Kumar from Bhagalpur, Prashant Kumar from Saharsa, and Sudhir Kumar from Muzaffarpur.
Manish Kumar has been appointed as the boys’ team coach, while Ruby Kumari will coach the girls’ team. Nitish Kumar will manage the team during the competition.
