BJP Bihar Pays Tribute to Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
Patna: The Bihar state office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a solemn tribute on Friday to honour the late former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The gathering was attended by State President and Minister for Revenue and Land Reforms Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha, and other party leaders and office bearers.
In his tribute, Dr. Dilip Jaiswal expressed profound sorrow over Dr. Singh’s passing, calling it an “irreparable loss to the nation.” He said, “Dr. Manmohan Singh was a distinguished economist, a humble statesman, and a dedicated leader who played a significant role in the country’s progress. His simplicity, wisdom, and commitment to duty will remain an inspiration for generations.”
Dr. Jaiswal also prayed for the peace of the departed soul and extended heartfelt condolences to Dr. Singh’s family. Reflecting on Singh’s legacy, he added, “Dr. Singh’s life exemplified selfless service to the nation and pioneering economic reforms. The BJP family will always remember his invaluable contributions.”
Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha also paid tributes, recalling Dr. Singh’s pivotal role in shaping India’s economic and political landscape. Both leaders highlighted his commitment to national progress and his enduring impact on governance.
The tribute concluded with a two-minute silence observed by BJP leaders and workers as a mark of respect. The gathering pledged to uphold the values and ideals Dr. Singh represented, vowing to work for the nation’s welfare in his memory.
