BJP Gears Up for Amit Shah’s Rally in Muzaffarpur on Nov 5
Patna: The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, is poised to return to the political arena in Bihar, with a scheduled rally in Muzaffarpur on November 5. This forthcoming event signifies the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) second rally in Bihar within the past two months and the sixth since the inception of the Mahagathbandhan government in the state in August, last year.
Mobilizing the masses for the rally has been entrusted to Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), district presidents, and officials from various organizations across 16 districts in Bihar. The meticulous planning and execution of this event are of paramount importance to the BJP, as they endeavor to bolster their political influence in the state, especially in preparation for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections next year.
In preparation for the rally, BJP State President Samrat Chaudhary and Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai held a meeting with party functionaries and workers in Muzaffarpur on Thursday. The rally site was also inspected during their visit.
Chaudhary, speaking about the significance of the rally, said, “The rally organized by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Patahi Airport ground in Muzaffarpur will be historic. He said that through this rally, Shah will start the campaign to make Bihar free from RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.”
Chaudhary went on to claim that the BJP’s symbol, the lotus, will bloom in all 11 assembly constituencies and both Lok Sabha seats in Muzaffarpur. He confidently predicted, “NDA will form the government in Bihar with 40 Lok Sabha seats in 2024 and two-thirds majority in 2025.”
The dedication and hard work of party workers to make the rally a historic success were emphasized by Chaudhary, who expressed expectations of a substantial turnout with lakhs of people participating.
Shah’s continued focus on Bihar became evident with his previous visits to Jhanjharpur town in Madhubani district on September 16 and various other locations, including Purnea, Sitab Diara in Saran, Nawada, Lakhisarai, and Valmikinagar.
Political analysts pointed out that Bihar holds 40 Lok Sabha seats, and in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured victory in 17 of these seats. Consequently, Shah’s forthcoming rally in Muzaffarpur is poised to draw substantial attention, with political enthusiasts and experts eagerly anticipating the potential impact of his visit on the continually evolving political landscape in Bihar.
