BJP MP Ashok Yadav’s Son Vibhuti Kumar Yadav Found After 32 Hours of Disappearance

Vibhuti Kumar Yadav, son of BJP MP Ashok Yadav, was found sitting in a garden near a bypass in Darbhanga after going missing for 32 hours.

Darbhanga: Vibhuti Kumar Yadav, son of BJP Member of Parliament Ashok Yadav from Madhubani, was found safe on Monday afternoon after a 32-hour disappearance. He was recovered by police from a garden near the Ekmi Shobhan bypass under the Simri police station area in Darbhanga.

Vibhuti, a law student based in Delhi, had gone missing from his residence in Laheriyasarai, leaving behind his mobile phone. His family filed a missing complaint on Sunday evening, following which police launched an extensive search across Darbhanga, Samastipur, and Madhubani. CCTV footage was used to trace his movement.

After being located, police said Vibhuti was exhausted and not in a mental state to be questioned. “He is safe and has been handed over to his family. Further questioning will take place once his condition stabilises,” said the local DSP.

Ashok Yadav expressed gratitude to law enforcement officials and public representatives who supported the family during the ordeal. “We are relieved that he has returned safely. At the moment, there is nothing more to say,” he told reporters.

The reason for Vibhuti’s disappearance remains unknown, and police are expected to speak with him in the coming days to understand the circumstances.
